FAQ

How and where are your products produced?

Every single piece that we sell is made by hand in our workshop in Milton Keynes in the UK.

What type of leather do you use?

The leather that we use is sourced in the UK and originates from some of the most renowned tanneries in the United Kingdom and Europe. We will always try to source the best possible leather within the UK but with the closure of so many tanneries over the years this isn't always possible so we have to look wider to Europe. Please have a look at the other pages for more information on this.

How long will it take for my item to be made?

Our standard processing time is 2 weeks. If we're not too busy, we will try to have your item done sooner. Around the major holiday periods, our processing time will increase, but we’ll try to make sure to let you know on the product pages.

Can you do rush orders?

If you need an item and you’re on a tight deadline, let us know and we’ll see if we can accommodate. We will always try our best but if we can't it's because we don't want to rush it and make a mistake. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and sometimes the best things come to those that wait.

What postage options do I have?

We post all of my items via the Royal Mail currently. You will have the option to select tracking or not at the checkout and we strongly recommend that you do. If you do not and you do not receive your product then there isn’t a lot (anything!) that any of us can really do, hence please select the tracking option! We always obtain proof of postage on our side and are happy to provide a copy of this if requested.

I’d like you to make something that isn’t shown on your site. Is that possible?

We do accept bespoke commissions and are more than happy to discuss your wishes and requirements with you. Please note that we do request a non-returnable deposit of 50% of the agreed price to cover any costs of raw material items that we may need to purchase for your item. Of course, if we have made a mistake on our side then this would be fully refundable.

Do you accept returns?

Buying online is difficult, you can’t hold it, touch it or even smell the leather (trust us you will and we still do!). So, we have tried to be fair and come up with a simple 3 rule returns system: (Please go to Orders section and select the relevant 'Return item' if you do wish to return anything)

1. Our fault:

If in the unlikely event that the workmanship or materials have failed in any way then please contact us immediately and we will provide your choice of either an in-store credit, exchange or full refund (including shipping) once we have received the faulty item back. We are human after all and we all make mistakes and all we can do is put it right for you without a fuss or a fight.

2. You changed your mind:

If when you receive it it’s too big, small, don’t like the colour etc. then as long as it is in an ‘as new condition’ and as long as it’s within 30 days of delivery then we will provide an in-store credit, exchange or refund, all excluding shipping both ways.

3. Your fault:

If there has been an ‘accident’ and it has been damaged in any way e.g. dropped down a drain, drawn on by a child or you wrote your name in it, etc. then no sorry the item can’t be returned and eBay may be your best option? You could always keep it and at least it has got its first memory!
